Family life at Cotton Bay Village

Families will enjoy The Plantation for many reasons. Self contained accommodation gives you the freedom to attend to family needs, without the restrictions of a hotel. You are free to bring along your nanny or our concierge service can provide one for you. Some villas come with guest cottages for a nanny, parents or teenage kids.

Each villa is equipped with state of the art entertainment and games systems and “The Hummingbird Club”, for children aged 3-7, is a must for adventurous children who would like to learn a bit about our country and its secrets. Toddlers can be accommodated, accompanied by a nanny. A daily programme of land and water activities is provided for older children and teens.

The Plantation is also the perfect place to host family gatherings or reunions. Cotton Houses have elaborate galleries, which can accommodate parties of at least 20 and private Chefs and butlers make entertaining easy. Our concierge service can also arrange excursions and tours of the island or you can arrange to have your private butler give you and your family a first hand look into our history.

The Humming bird kids club was established by the local Montessori centre in Saint Lucia. The staff in the centre are trained and certified in Montessori care. The centre is available for children ages 3 – 7, children below this age are welcome once accompanied by a nanny or parent, opening time for the centre is 9am - 5pm.

Children can enjoy a variety of activities such as art and craft, nature walks, story time, board games, puzzles, cricket, beach games, movie time, shell painting, drawing and singing. The ratio of attendants to children 1 attendant to 10 children, parents can contact the kids club at any time via their room phone or room cell phone to check up on their child or children. The Kids Club attendants can be in constant contact with parents via the cell phone provided, all children must be signed in and out of the club.
